Ballet students at PURE will participate in one of the most historical traditions in dance history. Students will participate in a disciplined atmosphere where they will learn ballet fundamentals and terminology while developing strength, endurance, poise and flexibility.
PURE offers Ballet exam testing for all ballet students who wish to pursue their accreditation in Ballet Studies. PURE has implemented the B.A.T.D (British Association of Teachers of Dancing) curriculum and technique to all of its ballet classes. The BATD Grades at PURE currently go from Pre-Primary to Elementary.
The British Association of Teachers of Dancing
The British Association of Teachers of Dancing was the first professional dance teacher’s association to be established in the year 1892. From this early beginning it has grown to cover the whole of the UK and has members in five continents. The Association organizes refresher courses, festivals, seminars, championship, instructional sessions and annual conferences.
