PURE Academy Programs
PURE offers programs in the disciplines of dance, music, and drama. We also offer a large number of specialty classes and we have a wide selection of Early Years classes designed for young learners.
Early Years Classes
PURE Early Years classes aim to assist parents in providing the best opportunities for creative play, learning and expression. Classes are offered in dance, music and drama disciplines to bring the unique learning experiences that parents seek to provide. In the youngest of classes, parents participate right along side their child to facilitate positive, playful interactions. Parents love learning the music and stories, going home with skills and ideas for further learning and imaginative experiences. Classes for Early Years students keep their age, development and abilities in mind and teaching is geared for their young and explorative selves.
PURE Dance
Dance classes at PURE are designed to teach students of all ages and levels new skills and proper technique. The fun and caring environment helps students grow in grace, balance, strength, flexibility, work ethic and self-discipline. Most classes perform in a year-end show with costumes and choreography that is interesting and entertaining — and always age appropriate.
PURE Music
PURE Music programs provide well-rounded and enjoyable singing, instrumental, and theory instruction to students of all ages and abilities. Students learn in a group setting skills and technique in a warm environment with highly trained instructors. Classes instruct from introductory to advanced levels, and offer challenging repertoire from several musical genres. Studying music at PURE encourages the pleasure of appreciating the art form as a discipline to be mastered while shaping passion and pride for their instrument.
PURE Drama
Drama students participate in a wide variety of activities which encourage creativity, confidence and quick-thinking. They work with vocal exercises, and physical exercises as they become more comfortable with their own acting skills and style. Our well-trained and experienced acting instructors will engage and challenge students, and will teach everything from the basics of acting and stage to the most advanced of character development. Acting classes foster confidence, self-esteem, self-expression, and, of course, build strong acting skills.
Specialty Classes
PURE specialty classes are categorized this way when the class is either part of a larger grouping of classes in a specific program, or special permission or an audition is required for entry into the class. All specialty classes are either competitive, performance, or intensive and as such they all require a greater degree of commitment from the student and their families.
